Professor Ishola Saheed Ademola, a distinguished scholar in financial management, was born on April 17, 1977, in Ibadan, Nigeria. He is married to Mrs. Adejumoke Omolola Ishola and has six children. A native of Ibadan North Local Government, Oyo State, he has an extensive academic background, earning multiple degrees, including Ph.D. qualifications in Management, Finance, and Strategic Management. He studied at prestigious institutions such as the University of Lagos, Lagos State University, and Aldersgate University in the Philippines. Additionally, he holds fellowships from several professional bodies, including the Forensic Investigation Society of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria.
Professor Ishola has an impressive career spanning various sectors, including banking, education, business development, and consulting. He began his professional journey at Access Bank PLC as a Resident Inspector before transitioning into academia and consultancy. Over the years, he has held significant positions such as Registrar General of the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria, President of the Association for Entrepreneurs & Vocational Studies Professionals, and Regional Director for Across Atlantic Erasmus Club Africa. Currently, he serves as a Professor at AZTECA University in Mexico and ESCAE University in Benin, while also acting as the Rector of the College of Entrepreneur and Vocational Studies of Nigeria.
A prolific researcher and author, Professor Ishola has published extensively on entrepreneurship, finance, and economic development. His works include books on sustainable entrepreneurship and various scholarly articles in reputable journals. His research interests focus on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), financial sustainability, and business performance. Beyond academics, he actively participates in conferences and workshops, addressing topics such as digital marketing, strategic alliances, and sustainable entrepreneurship. With expertise in Microsoft Office applications, he continues to contribute significantly to economic and business discourse in Nigeria and beyond.
